(Antibes, by Claude Monet)
Light spreads out like air;
The tree stands solitary and serene.
The beach reclines in the waves,
The sea caresses the sands,
The sky embraces the world.
Leaves stretch out,
The trunk sweeps up;
Mountains muse in the distance,
The sea shimmers,
The sky glows.
The tree meditates on a moment;
Light flows into eternity.
