Tommy Tracy’s
web page: 4/24/04
Hello everyone!
Well, a lot has happened since we last updated my website! Lots of firsts for me: my first Easter, my first trip to Ft. Dodge,
my first stay at a hotel, my first time swimming (using the term loosely), my
first time seeing my friends Gabby, Bobby, and Marcus, my first time hearing
real birds singing and not just daddy’s bird clock, my first taste of rice
cereal, my first taste of cold medicine (bleh!), and
the list goes on and on…
Anyhow, I know you want to see pictures, so here you go:
Here’s a picture of me and mommy that daddy took on
Easter morning. I bought mommy the
Snoopy doll because I thought he was cute and I knew mommy would have fun
playing with him. Mommy is nice and
shares her toys, so I get to play with him whenever I want. J But I didn’t get to eat the cookie that came
with him. L
Here’s me playing with my… er, I mean, mommy’s new toy.
Here’s our family portrait from Easter morning. Daddy was showing me how to use the
‘watercolor’ effect in PhotoEditor, and we kind of
liked the results. Pretty cool, huh?
Here’s me playing in my new ExersaucerÒ that mommy and daddy bought
me for Easter. I can barely fit under my
jungle-gym anymore, so this is my new favorite place to play.
Here’s me and daddy watching Phil Mickelson
win the Masters Golf Tournament. Daddy and mommy were
very happy that Phil won, whereas I was somewhat ambivalent because I like
Ernie Els, too.
Ernie sings the Rubber Duckie song, so that’s
why I like him.
After we finished watching golf, we drove to Ft.
Dodge to see our friends, the Cantrall’s, who live in
Green Bay, Wisconsin. They were on their
way to Cedar Rapids from Green Bay, and it was fun to get to meet them. Daddy says he used to play volleyball and
hang out with them when they all lived in Mount Vernon. Anyhow, we stayed at the Best WesternÒ, and they had a nice pool,
so I got to go swimming for the first time, although mommy and daddy stuck me
in a big yellow floaty thing so I didn’t really do any
real swimming, per se.
Here’s me drying off after my
‘swim’.
Here are my friends Gabby, Bobby, and Marcus, with
their mommy.
Here’s daddy doing bench-presses with me in the
hotel room. It looks like he’s trying to
eat me, but he really wasn’t.
Here’s my friend Marcus. He’s 9 months older than I am, so he has lots of hair and teeth. I don’t have any teeth yet, but my mouth hurts a lot, and I predict that I’ll be reporting my first tooth in my next journal entry.
Here’s my friend Gabby with her
daddy and a friend.
Here’s a picture daddy took of me the day I turned 5
months old. I still don’t really like
spending time on my belly. That’s why I
have that slightly annoyed look on my face in the picture.
Here’s me kissing mommy on the
cheek. (Note from daddy: Actually, he was chewing on her cheek, but
he’s too embarrassed to admit to the aberrant behavior.)
Well, that’s about
it. Mommy and daddy say hi. Come and visit me!
Love,
Tommy
