6/29/04 Part IA (May)

Hello everyone! Well, it’s been 2 months, and I am FINALLY finding the time to update my website. I’m sorry it’s taken so long. Time has just flown by. Since my last update, I have gotten my first 3 teeth (bottom middle, and I just got an upper incisor, but it’s not one of the front ones). Mommy hopes I get the two middle teeth soon so I don’t look funny. Other firsts for the past 2 months include self-initiated peek-a-boo and sitting up unattended (although I sometimes fall over and go boom after awhile). I also got to see Grandma Betty for the first time, and lots of my Chicago relatives. I have so many uncles, and they all look like my daddy (especially the lack of hair), so it’s gonna take me awhile to remember who’s who.

Anyhow, here are some pictures daddy took over the past 2 months:

Here’s me helping Mommy and Daddy in their flower garden. My job was to taste the dirt and wood chips to make sure they were ok for growing flowers in.

Here’s me and Mommy sitting on the stump in our tulip garden. Our city had a tulip festival last month, with parades and people wearing funny costumes with wooden shoes. There was also lots of yummy food (although I didn’t get to eat any) and fun rides (well, I’m assuming they were fun… the other kids seemed to enjoy them).

Here’s me watching the Orange City Tulip Festival parade for the 4^th time in 3 days.

I look kind of funny in this picture because Daddy took it with a ‘fish-eye’ lens (poor fishie!). Those are Mommy’s knees behind me, not angel wings.

Here’s me when I turned the big 6. Speaking of 6, check out those 6-pack abs!

Here’s me (left) and my best friend ymmoT (center), and his daddy, yddaD (right). His daddy looks a lot like my daddy. I think maybe they’re brothers.

Well, that’s about it for the first part of May. I used to have May all in 1 file, but it was still too big, so I have to do part 1A and 1B. Don’t forget to check out parts 1B and 2!
